I'm finally able to get to a computer.  My friend Jennifer has been gracious enough to let me use her computer.  We got Hannah yesterday and she is doing very well.   She loves to eat and sleeps great.   We are currently in Nanjing, China.  On Friday we fly to Guangzhou.  Please tell my boys that we miss and love them.  I'm very homesick.  There is a 13 hour difference between here and N.Y.

Tomorrow is Only a Day Away

We got our passports and are all packed.  It has been quite a journey thus far, but as I think and ponder for a moment, I know that the journey has really just begun.  Please keep us in your prayers.  I pray that we are all packed.  I even got an adorable baby doll this morning from my college roommate for Hannah.  I stuffed that in Hannah's suitcase, b/c I'm sure she will love it.  Here we come Hannah!  We love you!

Hannah's Room

Today I added the some of the finishing touches on Hannah's room. I still need to get her a little rug for when you enter her room, but it's certainly not a priority at this time. We leave this Thursday to go get her and we are so thrilled. God has answered yet another prayer for us and I will be able to stay home with her until the end of May. Praise God!

Here's your little crib where we pray you will have sweet dreams Hannah.

My little princess can see herself in her mirror and think of how she can help the world.

Forbidden City

One of the places we will be seeing is the Forbidden City in Beijing, China.  Today we had our Travel conference call and it lasted about an hour and 20 minutes.  I saw that my two friends Jennifer and Heather were also sitting in on the call.  Praise God!

The Time is Near

Tomorrow we have our travel conference call about traveling to China.  We leave next Thursday January 21st.  I just can't wait to go and get her.  I don't know how I'm supposed to pack everything that we need especially since it's so cold in Beijing and not much warmer in Wuxi.  Beijing is the first place in China that we will be going to.  We get to tour the Great Wall of China and I believe that this is what it will look like when we see it too.  I would prefer to see green as opposed to white, but as long as I get my Hannah, white it is.

Updates on Hannah

Look at our little sweetie! Her cleft lip has been repaired and she is even smiling in one of the pictures. We are so blessed to have gotten so many updated pictures of her. Thank you Leah and thank you God!

Hannah is currently in Wuxi, China.  In the pictures posted, she is only 12 months old.  We have had no updates as of yet, so we don't know what she looks like now or how big she is.  We can't wait to hold and kiss her and love her.  The boys are so excited for us to bring her home.

Our Journey to Hannah

It has been a very long journey to get our little Hannah, and it's not over yet.  It all started over 4 years ago when God laid the desire to adopt on my heart.  This past fall, we felt lead to adopt from the Waiting Children's Program.  Two weeks after we applied to that program, we received Hannah's referral.  We are so close to getting her now.  She is almost 17 months old and we are supposed to go get her on January 21st.  This has been changed once already, so I pray it doesn't happen again.

Our Journey to Hannah

Our journey to Hannah began over 4 years ago. God laid the desire to adopt all those years ago when we were in church listening to a teenager talk about a missions trip to Romania. In the fall of 2009 God laid it on our hearts to adopt from the Waiting Child's Program. Two weeks later we received our referral of Hannah. Today 1/4/10, we received our TA(Travel Approval), and found out that we will be flying over on the 14th(next Thurs.) Praise God.

Michael and I have been married almost 15 years now. We currently have two biological sons Cody(9) and Collin(6).
