Having Fun With The Camera

I was trying a new hair style with Hannah's hair, since it's getting longer.  Cody showed me how to take black and white photos on my camera so I thought I would play with that as well. 

 Look at those little pig tails and those beautiful brown eyes.

It's hard to keep Hannah still.  She always wants to see her picture on the camera before I can even take it.

A Trip to Lancaster

We went down to Lancaster, PA for a few days with some friends.  It was a good time.  I'm a lot poorer, a little bit heavier, but also happier.  Below are a few pictures to capture our vacation.

Here's the Shackelton family outside the Sight and Sound Theater.  We were getting ready to go see the play Joseph.  It was amazing!  I highly recommend it.

Hannah's Surgery

On Wednesday, May 31st, Hannah had her cleft palate surgery. We had to be at the hospital by 6:15 and her surgery was scheduled for 7:45. What a process this was. The surgery lasted over 2 hours and below are pictures before and after the procedure.

Hannah's first bike ride

Hannah just loves her little bike. It's not really her very first bike ride but it's one of her best times with it where she really got into it by herself.

My Hair is Growing!

Hannah's hair has grown enough that I have been able to put her hair in little pig tails.  She of course will not leave them in for any length of time.  She also takes her shoes and socks off all of the time.  Just ask anyone in town who saw us walking up to Greenlawn School yesterday.  She was waving her bare naked piggies all over and loving every minute of it. 

I've included some photos of Hannah with her hair done.  It was a struggle to get her to sit still so I could take the picture. 

This was the best photo.  If you look closely you can see the pink pig tails on top of her head.

I had to post this one.  I was trying to get her to sit still and she was leaning her head on my hand.  So sweet!

Cute as a Button and Pretty as a Picture

Hannah was blessed to have yet another shower.  It was put on by Rosemary, at her lovely home, and gifts were brought by the Women's Recreation Club.  Hannah had so much fun and below are some pictures of one of the cute little dress up outfits Hannah got.
