Hannah's First Snow

They say when you are given lemons, make lemonade.  So, I took Hannah outside in all this snow.  She wasn't really sure what to make of it but after a while she started to touch it.

Here she is on top of our picnic table.

Out back the snow plows pile up all the snow from the dead end street, so the boys make forts and slides out of all the snow.  Collin had made a little seat here that was perfect for Hannah.

Here's Hannah coming down the slide Cody made for her.  She's not quite sure what to think of it.

Collin was showing Hannah how to make snowballs.

Hannah's Dedication

This past Sunday we had Hannah's dedication at our church, The Sidney Assembly of God.  Unfortunately, it was our pastor's last Sunday, as he is moving on.  He and his family will be greatly missed.  I wanted to share some of the photos of the dedication as well as the party afterward.

Hannah wanted the panel of controls for the instruments on the floor in the worst way.

She even let Pastor hold her.  Cody informed the congregation that it's b/c Pastor is bald like daddy.
I tried to upload pictures from the party but it won't work.  She missed her nap that day, but did very well considering.  Tomorrow we see Dr. Kerr to find out when Hannah gets her surgery.

Hannah's Shower at B-G

Today Hannah and I went to the library for toddler time and she loved seeing all the other children her age.  They sang songs and stories were read.  Then this afternoon Hannah had her shower put on by wonderful friends Maryann and Bonnie.  Our B-G family showered Hannah with beautiful things.  That's a lot of thank you cards.  Thank you to all.  Hannah is truly blessed.  Below are a few of the pictures that Marcie so graciously took.

Hannah's beautiful cake made by Bonnie.

The Brother's helping to take of Hannah while Mommy opens presents.

Hannah with a bow just before she ripped it off.

A pink Dr.'s kit.  She could be a Dr. you know.

Collin was a super present opener and Maryann was writing everything down.
Thank you all again.  God Bless!

The Next Charlie's Angel

I didn't get to take any pictures of when Grandma and Great Granny came over.  For one, I forgot, and two, Hannah was staying very close to me.  I did however get a few pictures of Cody teaching Hannah how to handle a nerf semi-automatic.  Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of the boys dragging Hannah by her feet on the hard wood floors and her laughing(housewife cooking thing).  Enjoy and watch out!

Watch out boys, she's locked and loaded!

I don't need anymore help bro's, I got it!

Thursday February 18th

Today Grandma Ulmer and Great Granny Ulmer are going to bless us with their presence.  Great Granny hasn't seen Hannah in person yet, so it's sure to be a treat.  It was with both grandma's help that we were able to bring home our little Hannah.  Hopefully I will remember to get pictures when they come so that I can post them.

Tomorrow is Hannah's baby shower up at my school.  Two of my great friends from school have been kind enough to put this on for us(and I'm sure there are others that have helped too).  It should be interesting to see how Hannah does with opening gifts, I know the eating of the cake won't be hard for her.  That girl loves to eat!

We're Home

It has been a long time since I've been able to post.  Hannah has kept me busy to say the least.  She has been adjusting very well.  She doesn't hate the dogs as much and has even begun to pet them.  She loves her brothers.  Collin plays very well with her.

February 1st

This is Alyssa again, posting an update from Shelly:

The following pictures are more recent ones of Hannah.  She loves her bath now.  The big building is the hotel that we are currently staying at.  Michael took a picture of the McDonalds to show the boys that yes there are McDonald's in China.  There are two photos of the top of the hotel where we have a breakfast.  It's a revolving room with a panoramic view.  Give my love to my boys.
